Morning again all,

Well on the poker front yesterday I had a much better day and won about £400 from sit and goes and £900 in multis. I played in 2 multis yesterday and am still amazed at the amount of games they have on there. I logged in and looked at the multis at just gone 8 and there was still so much choice to choose from. I entered the $35k guaranteed which was a $10 rebuy – yes for just £7 you can win $7,000 amazing value really. Anyway had a bit of fun it and went reasonably deep but fell short of the money. Played in the $30k gtd as well where I made the final table and went out in 6th,, picking up $1,800 for my troubles. No bad beat stories to be told here as I was just so card dead I ended up shoving with 23 clubs.

Well it seems that no one wants to pick up £50 from the competition so that will keep some money in my pocket. Take a guess if you want to, they are logical answers if you took a good think about it.

Don’t forget the Big Slick have a £50,000 gtd live tournament tomorrow night if you need any information on this please E Mail me at duffs16@hotmail.co.uk and I will answer any questions that you have.

Well today I’m off to get the missus a car so won’t have too much time for poker at all for the next few days as tomorrow we are off to a big party so probably won’t play now till Sunday night.

When I started posting this blog I had already made a business plan and within this plan I had lots of big ideas for poker and these are well ahead of schedule and on track for what I want to achieve. I have always felt that any business plan needs to be realistic and achievable and kept to and if things pan out the way I hope then I will have some great news for you all.

Many thanks to all those that continue to read my ramblings and good luck at the tables but don’t forget if you want to know about the benefits of The Big Slick and Ipoker please send me a mail as I would be able to help you out. I know I keep bleating on about it and don’t want to come across as a mere spammer but the site is the biggest in Europe and is getting bigger and once you get used to it I really cant see why you would need to play elsewhere if you can get a good deal on there. I truly wish that someone had approached me a long time ago about it so am only doing what I wish someone else had done.

Don’t forget to have a look at the ECOOP schedule which is an earlier post and see you at the tables.

2 out of 3 for most people now - The answer to Q 3 was correct as glue is used on the rubber before playing and builds up a layer of heat between the wood and rubber which makes the ball go much faster. Q2 is rubber bands - my ball is now the size of a small football. So just Q1 to get for £50.

The ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) for a short time banned speed glue. Certain toxic substances in glue are still banned on health grounds but speed glues are now legal for use in tournament play if they are approved by the ITTF. However the ITTF have reviewed the ban on speed glue and have decided that from September 2008 all adhesives used must not contain any volatile organic compounds.

Virtually all of the world’s top players use speed glue.

Speed glue was allowed for the last time in the 2008 Summer Olympics. From the 2012 Olympics games, speed glue is banned in the Olympics.

I play in the Trafford and Wilmslow Leagues (in the top divisions of course ;) )

Is it an arthiritus? bracelet?
